Bettye Danoff, one of the thirteen founding members of the L.P.G.A., died on December 22, 2011 at the age of 88. She was a successful amateur golfer, and played exhibition matches with Byron Nelson. She never won on the pro circuit which she played on through the mid-1970s.  » LPGA.com   » NY Times
