It was reproduced from the book, <em>The Search For the Perfect Golf Swing<\/em>.<\/p>\n<p>The sequence has sixteen frames, but only four for the backswing. In an in-time sixteen-frame sequence, the backswing would take up about twelve of the frames.<\/p>\n<p>1.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan1.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan1.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hogan did not take the club back in a leisurely way. Notice that the shaft is already bending.<\/p>\n<p>2.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan2.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan2.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>3.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan3.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan3.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Halfway back, his wrist hinge is almost fully set.<\/p>\n<p>4.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan4.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan4.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Notice his ramrod straight left arm. Only Hogan gets away with this.<\/p>\n<p>5.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan5.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan5.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>It looks like Hogan has a tremendous amount of lag, but it is because his flat swing tilts the plane of his arms and clubshaft far away from a vertical plane of the film. Here it is.<\/p>\n<p>12.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan12.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan12.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>13.<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan13.jpg\"><img decoding=\"async\" src=\"http:\/\/www.therecreationalgolfer.com\/hogan13.jpg\" border=\"0\"><\/a><\/p>\n<p>Hogan did not cross his hands over after impact. This, and figure 14, show his right hand underneath the handle for a long time.
